Absolutely amazing. I really like the look of that 1856. Hey, I didn't see the 69/69 anywhere?!

Absolutely amazing collection. That 1856 definitely steals the show. I am working on the Lincoln collection at the moment, but eventually I would also like to collect the entire small cent series....though the '56 FE will give me a headache. CONGRATULATIONS!

Very nice, along with your 1856, you have some very nice early Indian Heads. These can be very tough to find. Nice job and thanks for sharing.

Thank you all for your comments! The 1856 obviously was a huge purchase and cost me an arm and a leg. Actually I only had to refinance my house and adopt out my firstborn son. Ok, I'm kidding again....but I really did have to consolidate my collection some and ended up selling 3 ounces of gold in the 1750 range. I am still looking for the 69/69 and may get a 22 no d some day, but since these are varieties, I don't consider them necessary to complete the set. My focus for a while was getting the pre-1880 IHCs in problem free VG or better, and I neglected some of the later dates that were already part of my collection. I do have some upgrading of the coins in the late 1800s to get them all to be VG+. I also still need to get the 2008 + lincoln cents...so it's still a work in progress, but I'm enough complete to post the set...I'm definitely done with all the hard stuff. :-)

congratulations!
I'm 2 cents away from finishing the same set, oddly enough both are from 1909 and both have that darn "S" on them....
