wz1f Valued Member United States 224 Posts	Posted 01/03/2012 09:29 am Ok thanks everyone, I am still looking for that first real DD. This one might be a lighting problem. What do you recommend for lighting?. I am using a 10mp nikon camera and a 10x loupe for the pictures and I also use a 60x loupe for those close ups. I have a new microscope on its way to me in the mail. Maybe that will help. I appreciate everyones replys, thats the only way I can learn. So thank you again everyone. Report this Post to the Staff
chickenboy Valued Member United States 87 Posts	Posted 01/03/2012 1:42 pm Try eliminating the loupe. It was hard for me to get focused shots with a loupe. Take a good focused shot with your camera (macro setting) and crop it. With 10 mp you can crop close enough for detail. A little tripod helps also. Report this Post to the Staff
