Probably not aUnc, there is just a little too much wear in the King's beard and the emu's feathers are a little too rounded. Maybe EF? Nice coin though, better than mine. Was originally quite sharply struck up. Evidence of that remains in the grass and the lettering.

 Sel I would call it aEF maybe EF i'll Know when I pick it up but it is far better than the others I have. The best I have is aF so this one is far better than mine at the moment, I only paid $32 for it so I think I got a good deal  I would have paid up to $60 anyway |

If it turns out to be only vf i'll be dissapointed.
I think there is far too much detail on the reverse to be only vf

I picked the coin up from the post office on my way to the goldfields on a job. It looks better in hand that the pics. There is a tiny bit of wear in the detail of the beard and the hair but the detail is still there. It has a good ear and the rim of the crown,Perls and jewels are all there. the reverse is great. fully feathered emu with slight rounding on the lettering in Advance Australia. I would definitely grade this as a EF and am more than happy to add it to my collection I will try and get some images up when I get back home. |
