I have just reached 250 posts, so I am allowed to offer things for sale/trade.
If I am offering an Australian item, is it a good idea or bad form to put a trade/sale post in the "Australian Coins, Bank Notes and Paper Money" forum?
I figure more interested people would read it here, rather than in the general trading section.

Congrats ozcoin!
I have just come back to my coins after taking time away to deal with the loss of a family friend.
I hope to be sending out the last of my coins from the competition I had when I made it too 250.
I may be keen on some bank notes!

We prefer people not to post advertising links in the main forum areas. If somebody wants to buy Australian coins, finding them in the sale/auction area is relatively easy: just click on the "Australia" link at the bottom of the main forum or active topics pages. Finding "trades" might be trickier, but if you make the title nice and clear about what you've got, you should get attention from anyone seeking a trade partner.
