These were my third and second to last coin orders of 2011, and they became the first coins acquired this year. Both came from my friend mentioned in my signature. They aren't much to look at but for the price I paid I am satisfied.

Gratian coin:
My-First-Coins-Of-2012-And-Three-Milestones

This is my first coin from Lugdunum (Lyons), and also my first coin with this kind of reverse type.

Faustina I coin:
My-First-Coins-Of-2012-And-Three-Milestones

My first Faustina I and my third Roman coin to feature a woman.

Also, I think I may have achieved a fourth milestone because if I'm correct in attributing the Faustina as RIC 1084, it will have Ceres on the reverse and I don't have a coin featuring Ceres yet.

Those ain't bad for the price. I've noticed once again that those you have look different in color than the photos that guy took. That's also a good milestone. I don't have any women yet, but perhaps in sometime in the future.

Congrats on your milestones. As long as you are happy with them that's all that matters.

My pics always tend to look a little darker than the coins actually look. But now that I've compared them, my Gratian pic is more accurate than his pic while his Faustina pic is slightly more accurate. Just depends on your setup and what you have at hand to photograph them. Thanks for commenting guys!

Nice coins! I just took a look at his site...I see lots of cool coins there. Lower grade but attributable and that is all you need. I see one coin on there that has an R5 rating! (Of course, rarity has been skewed somewhat since the '30's) I may jump on that one.
