I have been looking around online but have not found anyone selling a Dansco 7070. Are they not made anymore?

Yes they are still made. I think you can get them at numerous online shops. Try Vernon coin or Brent Krueger, or ebay or do a google/yahoo search and sellers will pop up.

It does seem like some of the bigger online retailers are out of stock. JPs Corner does have them.
Rest in Peace

I thought I heard a while back that they were updating the 7070 and none were being produced until this change is completed.

I think dave700x is correct. I have also been looking for one at my coin shops and they all say they have them on backorder while dansco prints them. I think they are printing new and updated versions.

I've looked around and they appear to be completely unavailable online. They occasionally pop up for sale on ebay, however, and I was able to get on from my local coin dealer last month (the only one he had in stock).

As far as I am aware, NOBODY has the details of the supposed updated version. I don't even think it has even been officially confirmed that there will be an updated version.

I think, you can still find Dansco 7070 online. I have it for Christmas for approximately $35 shipped. Check out coinsupplystore.com

You can start collecting the known coins now and put them in the new album once it comes out.

Any news on the 7070 update? I've been wanting to get one for a while but I'd like the latest version since there have been a lot of new types in the last several years and I was hoping it would be out in time for my birthday. I'm also keeping my fingers crossed that they'll reorganize things a bit better (instead of having a "modern" page) and fix a few omissions (the three types of silver Three Cents and zinc vs. bronze memorial cents are some that come to mind).
