I own about 30 ball caps and rarely do not wear one. This would be an awesome addition to my collection :-)

I honestly do not know how many ball caps I own. A lot. Although you're as likely to find me in a fedora when I'm wearing a hat, I'd definitely rock this one. If you can imagine an aging longhair wearing a ball cap backwards...that's me.
Unfortunately, there hasn't been much reaction to the CCF store. Certainly not enough to inspire expansion. Perhaps we need to work on that; perhaps it's not compatible with numismatically-oriented people.

I resemble that remark. Except the longhair, or any hair for that matter, left a long time ago Personally I like the golf shirt but the reverse print is a little too busy for my...err..um..taste..

Ah, now I get it, being un-(sorry) I meant non-American. You're talking about BASEball caps.
At first I thought the topic was going to be about percussion caps for musket balls!

I have 100's of caps but one more want hurt. For the people going to the coin show in AUG. I think any shirt and ball cap (for me ) from the store would help the store to keep going.

Must be something genetically wrong with me. I don't have any ball caps.

I too usually refer to those as baseball hats. Now that I think of it I don't think I've ever seen anyone with one on at a coin show. Odd too I never knew there was a CCF store. Where is it? Might be the reason sales are not great if not well advertised. I just went looking at all the forums and couldn't find a CCF Store.
Went back and looked at every Forum and Sub Forum and still could not find a CCF Store. This might well be a reason for low sales.

On CafePress those are called "Trucker Hats." It's easy enough to add them (I've had stores at CP for many years), but who actually maintains the store?

If I was looking for a store of any kind, I just couldn't imagine looking for cafepress. Why not call a store a store? Or CCF Shopping? Or anything where people would know at a glance what it is. And too on the left it does state CCF GEAR. And again, I would not have ever guessed that ment store. Maybe I'm old but if I was looking for a STORE, I would look for a STORE. This is why so many organizations spend millions of dollars in advertising so people would know about them. Ford, for example, calles their dealerships Stores, dealerships, etc. so people would know that is where you buy a Ford. I wonder if sales would be a bit larger if we had a STORE.

Quote: Maybe it's just me but I would never, ever have thought of a store being called cafepress Cafepress isn't the name of the CCF store, Carl. Cafepress is a company that provides "print on demand" services and hosts online stores for individuals or companies that have designs they want to make available on a wide variety of products. If you click on the link, you'll see the store is actually called "Coin Community Store." It's especially convenient for individuals and companies whose main business isn't selling stuff, since Cafepress not only hosts the online store but also takes care of taking orders, shipping the merchandise, dealing with returns, etc., all with minimal upfront cost (Cafepress gets a large percentage of every sale). All the "shopkeeper" has to do is create designs, decide what products the designs should go on and then sit back and cash the checks. As for "gear" vs. "store"... what can I say? You're old!

And remember that for old, I suspect the greatest majority of coin collectors are old. And being old they too may well not look for a store called anything but store.
