Tough call. Not because of your lack of skill, but because so little information is extant about that VAM. Indeed, note that it says "multiple die pairings may exist," which to me means that VAM-8 isn't really "valid" in the sense that it hasn't been sufficiently defined yet.
Your is a Small O, and the mint mark looks to be very far left of normal. Those are a good start, but I doubt we'll be able to be sure of an attribution for this one. The majority of Small O VAMs at VAMworld don't even include images of the reverse or mention mint mark location.
Have a close look at the date, for doubling and potentially a dash under one of the 8's in the date.
