Please grade on detail alone as the original pictures are not good, don't show luster. Thanks. Edited by TLS5933 01/11/2007 07:31 am

63+, as long as it actually has luster. The pics look like a coin that spent half an hour in Jeweluster.

That's probably my fault Dave.I changed the photos to B&W because the originals were so gold in color. I could still see some luster but I'm not sure how much yet.

I see the details and I agree if not just give it a Ms-64 on details alone even the stars show a sharp strike, But I would love to see the real surface both for contact marks and luster

Oh, I don't doubt that the actual luster is quite different. If the coin actually looked like that, I'd have to find the person who did it and flog him.

I don't see any real marks on the coin and the details look very sharp. Definitely no wear. From details alone, and judging it has strong luster, I'd call it MS65. Even the fields look clean. Nice purchase!!

Thanks Susan, I was worried there might be a little wear in the hair above the forehead. As I don't have any of these coins,I had nothing to compare it to,but I thought the strike looked exellent. The luster part is the only thing I'm concerned about.
