I got a coin I found in my grandfathers collection and it has a lump that sticks out on both sides. It doesn't sit flat. Its very odd how this could have happened. Let me know you think :)

This is post mint damage from heat. When heat is applied to a clad coin it causes trapped gases between the layers to expand and this is the result. Nothing in the minting process would cause this. Also WELCOME to the forum.

It happened outside of the mint, so it doesn't add any value.
