I got one 2011 Grant Dollar with the statue of Liberty. Where can I see the date and the mint mark? Maybe there aren't any?

On the edge of the coin. You know, where the reeded edge is on coins of other kinds.

For what it is worth, I think that feature on these coins is really neat. I believe it also says "In God We Trust" there also.

I like the "IN GOD WE TRUST" more than the "E PLURIBUS UNUM". The reason for that is because if you know some Latin, you would know what it means: "One out of Many", or anything similar to that. Search on Wikipedia.

By the way, the coin still has the Latin phrase on its edge or side.

IGWT was on the edge in 2007 and 2008. Since 2009 it has been on the obverse of the coin so it will be below Grant's bust.

I have found the date and mint mark on the edge of the Pres dollars makes it much harder to ID the mint mark. You have to rotate the coin and sometimes flip it to find the date and mint mark. Very cumbersome and time consuming. Wish they would move the date and mint mark to the obverse as they did the "In God We Trust".
