Curious about this new listing in the new cherrypicker's guide.
Page 116 1969,1970,1970 RDV with Reverse of 1968. I came across one in my pocket change jar and was wondering about rarity so far and pricing?

Well I think the cherrypicker guide should have both rarity and pricing for every variety it lists, unless I'm mistaken.

I was actually just going to post something about this... I found four of these in my jar... The 70-D must not be that rare... or we're both really lucky!

This is the one I found in the best shape. I found one that's a VLDS...

Since it's a new listing in cherrypickers it doesn't have any rarity numbers yet.

Quote from Cherrypicker's guide
"Description - Two deep valleys appear in the flame, which is struck in hight relief"

"Comments - Made public just months before press time, these are not very well known. The reverse on these dimes was first used for the 1968 Proofs. Largely restricted to Proof dimes for the next three years the design appears on just a few 1969,1970, and 1970-D circulation strikes, and so far seems to be rare."

No value is listed. This variety is also listed in the 3rd edition of Strike it Rich without a value as well.
