Hi Jacqueline. If this were an unvirculated coin in would be a goldly colour. There also seems to be quite a bit of wear on the base of the kings crown. Unfortunately it doesn't appear to be the proof you thought it may have been. Still a nice coin though and a good start to collecting Australian predicimals. I think it is probably worth between $2-10 graded as fine but it depends on the other side (the reverse) as well.
