I think the obverse is a MS-63+.

Pictures aren't good enough for much more than a guess. Could be AU55 to MS64.
My guess would be MS63.

I say MS64 but feel it is a slider between AU and MS

I will take some better pictures tomorrow. I picked this and a few other better date coins at a local auction last weekend. I won this coin for 92.00 out the door. This auction has coins quite often, but this was the first time they had certified coins. It was the worst and best night of my life in many ways. I got several killer deals, but only had 500 dollars. Common date coins like slabbed ms-62 morgans were bringing high prices (around 90.00 each) but key and semi key date coins were going WAY below market value. For example a 1903 s Morgan slabbed by PCGS at MS-62 sold for 1150.00. All the coins were from a local's estate that had passed away. Several key date coins sold for next to nothing. I was in tears nearly while I sat and watched this. All the while several auction goers were shaking their heads at how "ridiculously high" the coins were bringing tonight. One said "morgans for 100.00 these sell for 20 dollars a piece all the time here what are these idiots thinking."

MS61 or MS62 based on photos, I think the cheek is way more hit than the photo shows. The reverse loos nice though.

The reverse seems to be in much better shape than the Obverse. With the wear above the ear it makes sense to me that it wouldn't have fetched mint state. A nice looking coin.

That is a nice AU-58. There might be some rub right below the eye and next to the nose and possibly some on the reverse but the pictures are not clear enough to tell. I think the flatness above the ear is from weak strike rather than wear. Otherwise it looks MS.

I would have guessed MS-62 on the coin but it doesn't take very much run to make a MS coin a AU-58 coin, so I can see where they could say it is AU when they have the coin in hand. There are allot of people that actually search for AU-58 coins like this because you get the look of a MS coin for allot less money

A static photo just won't do, for me especially tough to call on borderline coins like SLQ, WL half, Peace $, St. Gaudens, Buffalo nickels, etc.

AU-58 is a good grade for this coin but I was thinking MS-60, but I can now understand why they graded AU. Not much difference in the price you would get for AU-58 or MS-60 on this coin. You said you bought it for a great price. Would you mind sharing the purchase price?
