What the heck is this thing?! SwamperBob, ever seen anything like this? Crude design like something you'd see on a contemporary forgery, but the coin itself looks to be of modern fabrication? Doesn't look like a button, either...

Hehe, I saw this one as well, it was ... odd ... indeed :)
I noticed there is a small writing under the date, maybe it would give an explanation.

Looks like "COPY". There are sites devoted to these.

It looks like a crude toy coin. I can't make out what is stamped below the date either. Probably says "copy".

I think the stamp under the date is a silver hallmark for sterling silver. I think is see a lion, making it a British hallmark which would probably make it a British replica.
