I don't see anything going on with the images provided. As far a doubling on the profile, it is usually Machine Doubling. The doubled dies usually have a doubled eyelid/ear lobe/doubled beard. The outside edge of the bust doubled is usually Machine Doubling. If it is flat shelf like, that is what it is.
Silver nickels were world war II issues (1942-1945 P-D-S) with the large mint mark over the dome of the Montecello. (there are some 1942's that are not silver) Look for the large mint mark over the dome for the silver ones.
