We'll probably need a photo of the other sides of these to nail down their origin, SD.
The coin on the left has Arabic script, btw.

The coin on the left is from the Ottoman Empire (look under Turkey in Krause) dated 1255. It's probably a 5 para
The other one isn't a coin but a token or charm

I was about to post and saw Bacchus' reply. Agree mostly, Ottoman, for Abdul Mejid (ascension AH 1255 / AD 1839; of course to date the coin we need to see the regnal year under the tughra on the other side). Rather Turkey than Egypt (no star under 1255). For the denomination, I believe it's 10 para - I judge the size by the ruled paper.

This token/charm is only one sided unfortunatly, it weighs an exact 3.0 gr for such a thin piece of gold :D

Well, first of all, I hate to break it to you, but your charm is not made of gold. I can guarantee it. Real gold does not get dirty like that in the first place - that's why people love gold so much, because it doesn't rust, oxidize or corrode. It will be made of some kind of brass. Feel free to take it to a jeweller and have it tested, if you wish - but I am certain that the gold content will be zero percent.
Second, I'm not seeing any recognizable Chinese/Japanese characters either. Perhaps it's simply written in a calligraphic style I'm not familiar with, but I'm wondering if it might not have been made by someone here in the West, who could not actually read or write Chinese but simply wanted to decorate their charm with something that looked like Chinese writing. In truth, I have no idea what the piece is or where it might have come from.
Finally, please don't get into the habit of cleaning up "dirty-looking" coins. This piece looked fine before it was cleaned. If it had been a genuine old antique coin, such harsh cleaning would have destroyed much of its value.

The "letters" are weapons, on the left, and branches/leaves on the right. They are not letters at all.
