This is a little information that's hard to see with just the pictures. The coin looks like it's been cleaned or polished at one time. There is also a light purple blue iridescence on both sides which cannot be seen in the pictures. It shows best when held in bright light. I'm not good at grading, especially with my own coins. Some letters have been scratched on the front and back of the coin. Why would anyone do that? Thanks in advance for any input, Ed

Assuming it is authentic, it looks to be around VF-25/30 details/cleaned, graffiti

Looks like the real deal from the photos, but always err on the careful side when dealing with often counterfeited coins like this one.
VF details cleaned, damaged grafitti on obv/rev net price for selling would probably be around good pricing or $600.00 and under, half of what a VF is worth at least or even less, as this damage is pretty bad.
Shame as the scratches make it really hard to sell to a collector for a set.

I hate it when keys like this get damaged.

The cleaning isn't all that obvious. I would guess the cleaning happened some time back and that grey color and the iridescence developed as the coin retoned. The cleaning would shave a couple hundred dollars off the potential value; the very tragic graffiti probably knocks off another 50%. If this were my coin I'd sell it for what it would bring and consider investing additional cash to purchase a problem-free example.
Details are about VF-30 I think.

That is a bummer somebody would do that to a coin like that. It is still a really cool Morgan though!
