It's almost impossible to tell the difference a brass plated and a copper plated cent if at all.The red and rainbow are most likely just toned.

the brass might be a premium , spread my zinc across the table and obviously difernt tone and all 83 , granted that was $150 or so worth of zinc , so the yellow stand out Wierd because usually hard to find in my nrmal loads, maybe catch a few if I look, this time 6 or so and all 1983. Are they worth much ? I dunno. They were posted for $25 in ms. I still need to weigh, or figure out how to test em. But why not fill a roll or two. I also started stashing good rainbow or bluish ones. I saw them going for a nice chunk of change in mint state, but mostly it just gives me an excuse to roll em. I've been having no luck with my zinc search for varieties, and one day maybe I'll find a winner in my "special rolls "
