(Relatively) EDS VAM-80. ANACS should have called it a 65. A lot of deceptive nothing is going on in the photographs (cameras don't lie); this one looks better in-hand. I know you, Bryan.

Looks a lot better than some of my recent ANACS MS64's so I'll say MS65.

I will post the results tomorrow, I will tell you even though they do not show in the photos, it does have PL fields and is graded as such on the label. For comparison this is a PCGS MS-63 of the same variety

I will start out by saying this coin looks better than any of the MS-63 PL VAM-80's I have in my collection so I was surprised by this grade. Since there have been no more guesses, here is what ANACS graded the coin

I don't see any marks on the cheek, looks better than a lot of my ANACS dollars, they have been hitting me pretty hard lately. Really tight on grades.

"looks better than a lot of my ANACS dollars, they have been hitting me pretty hard lately." "Really tight on grades." How can that be possible when there must be a 1000 posts by PCGS fanbois claiming ANACS is known for and consistently overgrades? _________________________________________________ Looks like a 65 from here.

How can that be possible when there must be a 1000 posts by PCGS fanbois claiming ANACS is known for and consistently overgrades? LOL No kidding! A PCGS fanbois I am not! ANACS does most of my TPG'ing that I send in, as the variety designations are a lot better than NGC or PCGS IMO. They cost less and the service is pretty quick, and besides, I have a few old friends that work at ANACS. I get no special favors from them. They seemed to become the top tier company when James took it over again and most of the ICG staff moved over during the move from Austin, TX back to Englewood, CO. JP Martin is one heck of a grader and super nice guy to boot!
