Just thought I'd start a thread here about pocket pieces.
Post yours if you have 'em!

Mine. Sorry for the poor picture quality. The coins really aren't that blue.

I started with both of these coins about 4 years ago. Both were (relatively) new looking..

I avoid coins in a pocket. To many times in the past I would loose some or all due to a hole from those coins.
Just one good reason for paper money.

I keep a New York State Quarter (P mint) in a Velcro-ed pocket. It never comes out except to look at it, so it goes through the washer and dryer. :) Its core has turned brownish already.
Rest in Peace

Coins rarely cause holes. Keys and other sharp objects cause holes.

Here's my favorite pocket piece.

My son gave this to me about a year ago. He's deployed 1/2 way around the world as I type this. I carry it with me every day.

As for US coins, I always try and keep 2 or 3 Ikes in my pocket. I've got about 40 of 'em sitting on my desk and they're fun to spend.

Thank your son for me for serving our country!
