Sorry Kman but the "D" shows MD. If you are referring to the area above the "D" it isn't the right size.

To confirm, double check the die marker on the back. It should be pretty obvious.

It doesn't have the die markers. The coin is in decent shape, could it be a new one?

You might have a different reverse or an earlier die example? What does the bottom serif on the mint mark look like. The glare white outs it.
