I have been getting boxes of pennies from my bank and they have all been rolled by NF String. But this last box I got didn't have NF String or any other company printed on the labels. They were paper labels and only said 50 CENTS on them. They came seald in the cardboard box with the holes in the top. Is this how Brinks rolls theirs or are they from someone else? the box looks like the typical String box but the rolls didn't have their name printed on them. This is just the first time I've seen this. I didn't know if it was normal or not. Edited by asyrp43 01/17/2012 11:34 am

Brinks uses clear plastic wrap for their rolls. I THINK they use paper for for half dollars(haven't had the courage to get into that world yet) but that's about it. My credit union uses those kind of rolls which they wrap themselves.

It sounds similar to a String box. Keep in mind, NF String and son company does not wrap coins, although they do supply the paper rolls and machines to roll coin.

only thing I can tell you its not from brinks for sure ! the brinks box have the brinks shield on the 4 sides of the box and have no holes to check if the box is full , your rolls in my area are used by loomis and garda .

It could be from Loomis. We have their trucks around here. It was just differnt from what I had been getting at my bank. I finished the box last night and it was a great box for finding red pennies from the 80's. I had 8 very nice reds in one roll from 84-86.

From your photo, the boxes are the same as we see in the area here from Loomis. The coins are in N.F. String wrappers. The wrappers we see like yours are customer wrapped, not machined wrapped.
