I'm going through a bag of five cents and getting a few of these with a double rim. Was wondering if by any change it could be the 1 cent obverse on a 5 cent reverse ?

possible.... although very very unlikely. I dont know what causes this but I have seen it quite often as well.

Not a chance there were no 1 cent coins minted after 1991 except the 2006 issue.

well ..that one I've just found now is a 2006 with the double rim on the obverse...all the way round. Normal on the reverse. will post a pic of this one soon...just have to duck down to the BANK before they close
