I can't see any tears in the note but it looks like it's faded a bit, has several heavy creases and a few stains.

It is interesting that down the side of Kingsford Smiths face, running from the top of his left ear to his shoulder is what appears to be a lack of colouring due to misaligned printing.

I'd grade it at Fine myself and be confident I hadn't stretched the envelope.

If I was selling it on ebay I'd start the bidding at $20, sit back and wait to see what others are prepared to pay for it. Hope this helps.

Yes it is, and I've noticed it on quite a few of the early notes. I guess printing technology in the 60s and early 70s wasn't as advanced as it is today.

he loved it, so did I sat up till about 2.30am reading through it. after lunch he is checking this one out, cancel that he just grabbed the book lol
and is now pointing out the pound notes he wants, this book could cost me more then I have.

Your boy sounds just like me erkle. Just when I've decided to save for something in patricular I pick up CAB or maccas and find something I like and before I know it its in the post from ebay.

my, what have I done..sorry erkle just as long as you don't over it..we don't want him truning up to school like this maybe I should have sent 2 so poor old dad can have a go with out having to stay up until all hours But that's excellent that you both like it..now dad only has to explain prefixes and about a million other things
