I'll start this off with my list.

1984 x 3 - found by noodling
1994 x 5 - found by noodling
1998 x 1 - found by noodling
2000 x 1 - found by noodling
2006 x 1 - gift from very generous forum member

1984 x at least 60 plus (only keep the better ones now)
1985 x 1
1994 x at least 80 plus (no longer keep these)
1998 x at least 80 plus (no longer keep these)
2000 x at least 60 plus (only keep the better ones now)
2006 x 1 found just before XMAS, really hard to find down here in Victoria.

Take into account we have searched through in excess of 1.8 million dollar coins and you can see why we found what we found.

Regards Craig

Craig_vt, Wow!! Very well done, excellent effort. I doubt that I'll ever reach those sort of stats.

I'd guess that you've been looking for a fair while compared to me. I only started noodling after I retired in March 2006. In fact, until then, I had no idea 'rabbit ears' existed or for that matter mules, upsets, incuse flags, die clashes.....the list goes on.

I did know about the 1966 wavy 20¢, but have to admit I'd forgotten all about it.

Oh dear Steve, I wont tell you tonight the wife and I went through 6000 coins and kept 1 x 2000 rabbit and returned 3x 1994 and 2 x 1998 rabbits.

If you are really desperate for a 94 and 98 drop me an email.

Love it!! I was wondering when someone would come up with a 'real' bunny.

1984 - 23
1985 - 3
1994 - 40
1998 - 48
2000 - 30
2006 - 192 (large variety)
2006 - 28 (small - the 'spew roo')

I have a few others that I have yet to catalogue.

I managed to get a number of 2006 rolls some time ago. I opened them looking for choice uncirculated. Nearly every roll had at least half a dozen rabbits. Subsequent rolls had nothing.

For those of you who haven't seen a rabbit, I have pictures in my CC Gallery.

the above Post by yass shows just how many 2006 Rabbits he came across, I can tell you all that down here in Melbourne they are as rare as the 1985 rabbit. Since the coin was released we have searched for the elusive 2006 Rabbit and we have come across the solitary 1.

THEY will eventually turn up, they always do

Scored two today at work. One 1984 ( which I gave to a friend, as I had one already) and a 1994, which is MINE ALL MINE . That 1985 is getting closer I can smell it. And before any of you smarties start, No its not me I can smell I have showered today.

Well done tiddy!!! With the figures as they are from craig_vt & Yass, it's a miracle that any escaped for you to find. I think I got another one last week, but can't remember what year it was. When I check it out, I'll update my stats.

Steve, are you sure you haven't got a 'rabbit proof fence' around your hunting ground? I thought there were quite a few bunnies found in your neck of the woods.
