Given the wear on the date, is this an FR-2, or is it even lower?

AG-3 with damage, the pits around the rim areas don't help, they keep the coin from just honest wear, something bad happened to this poor nickel during it's long life, looks like it may have lived in water for awhile, would be a cool pocket piece, just to see how much more you ould wear it down!

Westcoin,

Why do you say it lived under water? In other words, what is the hallmark of water damage?

Thanks!
