Now, I dont think this is one, but something other than PMD and some date whizzing from counters is going on here. Bear with me, alot of pics. Just never ran across one so messed up by just a counter. Th pics & captions dont coicide, but I dont have time to fix it. For example, the last pic shouls have been the 3rd, showing the rim. Just appears to be a bashed 5c Perfectly fine edge of affected area Seperation behind Jeff's head is recessed, and what looks like columns appear Metal seems to be folded over the star. Dark area isn't a hole, just where the metal shoud be. Area behind the head looks like a clean break-off Date & mm probably fron counter, but that sure looks like a chip next to the rim A better shot of that fold over Last 2 letters in LIBERTY LIB Too many characters between tha B & T Fold again with the clar recess behind the head So my ? here is did I just waste a butt-load of my time, did the die fall apart, all those columns are you cussing me for a worthless post? Although this type of damage could be conjured up to appear to be damage PRE issue, I feel that is not the case here. Which still leaves the question: How was this damage caused? coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 01/20/2012 4:06 pm Looks like it delaminated after striking. You can see the out lines of the missing devices. If it were struck with a delaminated planchet, the devices would be intact. Report this Post to the Staff
