Does this look like MD? The ED in UNITED,,,both T's and the E in States,,,OF and the 2 stars below the ED in UNITED. I think I covered all of them and I hope the pics show up ok.

I don't see anything except a few bag marks and scratches. What is wrong in those areas?

The area in question does appear to one of many forum of Machine Doubling. The best way to tell is that if the device is reduced in size/pushed aside/flat shelf like it was all cause by the striking process and not doubling on the die. Hope this helps.
