ilikeikes Pillar of the Community United States 1205 Posts	Posted 01/26/2012 12:42 pm I HAD to have this one for my Coins of Great Britain Collection...a real "Hobo" type coin, usually seen on USA Buffalo 5c, this one was done by Gosh-Knows-Whom, back in the day..I don't think these are common. There were uprisings and plots throughout the U.K. - Feb - Cato Street Conspiracy in London, five conspirators were hanged and beheaded on 01st May. March & April - rebellions in Scotland - three hanged & beheaded (last beheadings in Britain) - and rebellions in Yorkshire. So, I agree that 1820 was a "hot" year, in political terms, but I can't see the connection with this Hobo-Art. Report this Post to the Staff
