joshtammi Valued Member Australia 258 Posts	Posted 01/29/2012 07:59 am well, apparently it's low mintage, I think everyone is going crazy cause the RAM posted the mintage at 4 mil, but that was only for the first 6 months, for all we know they could make 40 million in the next few months and it will be worth next to nothing, but $45 for a bag? that's the most I've ever seen for a bag of the same year (well newly produced anyways). Its not as much as the 50c bags but still crazy. I dont think we will see too many low mintage years for a while. Seems like there is a constant demand. Report this Post to the Staff
Nevol Formerly nancyc Australia 5385 Posts	Posted 01/29/2012 6:10 pm The final mintage figures for all 2011 coins will not be known until about Nov 2012, so for anyone to claim a low mintage is incorrect. It's even possible that the next annual report from the RAM will even have more figures for 2010 coins. I've seen mintage stats for 1 year's coins spread over 3 Annual reports. life is a mystery to be lived not a problem to be solved Report this Post to the Staff
