I decided to go ahead and get this coin of Constantine X. It has quite an appealing patina to it and the price was right. It's also cool to note that it is an overstrike coin. I find Byzanitnes to be mysterious and interesting (although Romans are even more interesting ) Overall I think it will fit nicely amongst my other coins, even though it is about 700 years younger. How many Byzantine coins do you guys have?

Very nice coin for your first Byzantine. Byzantine coins seemed to be overlooked by most collectors for some unknown reason. I for one enjoy collecting them. I don't have a Constantine X, hope to find one in as nice a condition as yours someday.

Nice pickup! I def like the color.

I have three: a Manuel I trachy (cup) coin, a coin of Anastasius, and a coin of Justinian I.

Those are an interesting group! I don't have any Byzantine coins--perhaps someday.

I like the chonstantine X coin it has a nice color and the last three are also very nice. I like the size of the byzantine coins and the designs are different then romans but I like the different combinations on the byzantines also.
