Hello, I dont have many canadian coins, I ordered 2 of the 20$ polar bear coins yesterday. I like the design myself, I read on here others did not. Cant wait to see them, I'm mostly a silver collector, and some bills. Like the alot of the canadian wildlife silver stuff, never really pursued it before.
Can someone tell me about this series? I think I need to back track and get the canoe coin, any others I have missed?

I also have the 5$ cougar, and grizzly, been needing the wolf for a while, gotta pick one up sometime.

This series started in 2011. There were only two prior to the polar bear. The canoe and the first one pictured below.

Halfhunter, you spoke about 2 different series. First the Canadian Wildlife series consists of the following one ounce silver coins 2011 Wolf (1st), 2011 Grizzly (2nd) and 2012 Cougar (3rd). Second, the $20 series consists of the 2011 maple leaves reverse (1st), 2011 canoe reverse and 2012 polar bear reverse. there will be additional coins issued for both series.

for the 20$ for 20$ series, you can get the previous 2 for around 30$ each.

I still have some extra coins of the $20 series .... the 2011 maple leaves reverse and the 2011 canoe reverse ... however I do not have enough posts to sell here, but I may list some for sell here when I get the 250 posts.

When I ordered my 3, 20 for 20 Polar Bears yesterday they allowed me to pre-order the next 3 coins in the series. My credit card was not charged but they will hold them for me when they come out. That is kind of nice.

Cool, thanks for the info guys, I wasnt sure if the maple was part of the series or not. I'm gonna keep my eyes out to get the others I need. I did think about pre ordering the next coins also, but didnt do it.

Not here on this NCLT forum. Most have a very positive reaction to the design, and the series in general.

^^^ I agree with C_C. Even a thread on the kitco forum was all positive (not that I follow that forum)... especially about the polar bear. So far the series has been good.
