US 2 Dollars Seal Question - Coin Community Forum

thai-vic Pillar of the Community Thailand 1509 Posts	Posted 02/02/2012 04:36 am 2 Dollar note 1976 with the green seal over the 'T' and 'W' of the word TWO at the right of the portait. The other 2 Dollar note also 1976 with the green seal predominantly over the 'W' (effectively smack in the centre of the word. Question: Is this an error or a less than rare variation? Barely touching the O, to barely touching the T, to up almost touching "Washington,D.C.", to down almost touching the signature. Unless part of the serial number overlap part of the design or is missing, I don't think they really have a premium. Report this Post to the Staff

The 3rd over print has to touch another portion of the print to be considered an error.
