So I will admit I dont know the first thing about V Nickles other than I have a dansco I have slowly been filling in on the cheap. I was digging though the cull box at my dealer filling in some holes and just had my list and was taking what I didnt have for .30 a piece.

I was putting them away and I only have a few left so I wanted to see how much they would cost me. Then I realized I had gotten this baby today (Had NO idea it was a Key, or what the keys were). Not bad for a $0.30 pickup.

I grade as G4 perhaps AG3 due to the back. What do you think, and of value? I dont think its worth grading because of the wear, what do you think?

I'd grade it FR2 at best because the reverse is a PO1. It's still the '16-D of V nicks, so good job, maybe $200? It's not a series I know well.

Aye, that'd be an AG-3/PO-1 (obv/rev). Compromise between the two sides as an FR-2, imho. :-)

Unbelievable...a major key date in a cull box? I wish I know of a moronic dealer like that near me.

That is amazing! That is my one hole in my album and I would have probably died if I saw a shot at it for $.30. This was my grandpa's favorite series.

Nice work and I am very jealous.

That is the key date to the series ... and even in that condition a $200 coin.

Great score from the junk bin.
