Lights fading out, eyes getting heavy, fading away. I would leave my silver to some of my favorite memebers, but I only got 22 oz. and that will barely cover the cremation, if I can write down in my last bit of strength for my girlfriend to go the Foldger's can route (a much cheaper receptacle) like in one of my all time favorite movies from 1990, via the Cohen brother classic "The big Lewbowski" Just don't let Walter Sobchak give the Eulogy....

Here is a copy an paste from wiki in my last actions before I check out, farewell all stack on.....

"John Goodman as Walter Sobchak, a Vietnam veteran, The Dude's best friend, and bowling teammate. Walter places the rules of bowling second in reverence only to the rules of his religion, Judaism, as evidenced by his strict stance against "rolling" on Shabbos. He has a violent temper, and is given to pulling out a handgun (or crowbar) in order to settle disputes. He says the Gulf War was all about oil and claims to have dabbled in pacifism. He constantly mentions Vietnam in conversations, much to the annoyance of The Dude. Walter was based, in part, on director John Milius."

Silverhawk74,

Instead of going the Foldger's can route, you can share an apartment with Jackson. Hope you're not allergic to cats.

I hate to see Jackson past on, I love my dogs, may he rest in peace....

And I am allergic big time to cats, like cat scratch fever city, lol....

You know what is really funny, I first thought it was a set of 25 eagles, and I was cursing at my calculator when I figured up 60 bucks per coin....

It'd be interesting to know if they manage to find any suckers to buy them at that price.

Not sure what the beef is with APMEX, Provident has the same price for the same set. Both are MS/PR-70.

Well then MK, they need a good verbal thrashing as well, lol....

I just can't personally justify paying that kind of money per oz. of coin, and I have paid as much as 90 bucks per oz. before, via a Lunar dragon. And as many attest, I always go for the nice .9999 stuff, just not that nice as there is a good medium. And in the end, beauty is in the eye of the beholder....

If any of you bought that set, and you really like it an enjoy it, then I say more power to you, and it is your right to buy what ever you would like to own, at whatever price....

Ok, well that's something that most definitely isn't on my "nice to have" list..not at those prices anyways...especially when I see plenty of slabbed ASE's on ebay for $45-85.

Hey Guys, They just sold 20 sets in ANACS 70 at $2195.00 per set-a sellout in 15 minutes. This was on Home shopping a few hours ago. The wife got all excited and said "don't you have 5 of those sets in that box upstairs"? I had to explain that while they are worth a decent buck I will not be getting 2 grand a set any time soon lol. Gotta love those tv coin shysters.

"key dates"

What are they all from 1996, as I thought that was the only key date year for Eagles....

An selling that set out at 2 grand plus in 15 minutes, why does that not surprise me. The fact that theses shepal are so stupid, they can't even take five minutes to research an hunt for it elsewhere for hundreds cheaper, via ebay, APMEX, Provident, whatever....

The power of the television I swear, those guys at that show should all be drawn an quartered for preying on all the naive, lol....

But then a part of me says, well they did not put a gun to their head and force them to order it. And like pops always says...."If you are gonna be dumb, you better be tough."

And of course the ones in the set we are talking about.

2011-P Rev Pr: Reverse proof coin only issued in the 25th Anniversary Set.
