I want to put a complete set of Franklins together and where I can in full bell line. Obviously the 53s in full bell line will come a long way from now, once college starts paying off, but here is my start.

I am interested in the grade, value, and if it makes FBL.

Pics are shot through 2x2. When I get the Dansco for them. I will pop it out and take better pics. Until then I don't have any extra half 2x2 or air tits, So I don't want to pop it out.

Are these pictures taken through the Mylar window of a coin holder? It will be a little difficult to assess the grade without an unobstructed view.

Of-course, value is based upon grade assessment. There are some small marks in the field on the reverse. In my humble opinion, those marks may keep the coin under MS66.

The strike looks pretty good. If the small marks over the bottom 2 bell lines are actually on the coin holder, I would say you have a good shot at an FBL designation.

I do not know what you paid, but I would consider this coin for my own collection(s)! I hope that helps; however, you might want to wait for some of the pro's to chime in...

Beautiful coin. Obverse looks great, the spot on the reverse, between the two sets of bell lines would be the only thing for me keeping it from ms65, possibly 66. Once you get it out of that holder, take another pic and share.

I say fbl, but again, that spot worries me.

Great Franklin, will look awesome in your set! It's a keeper.

Here are new better pics with it out of the 2x2. Sorry it took so long. My camera was at home and I was back at college.
