just another note
the white specks and stain to the right of Lincoln are from the scan, NOT the coin

These came out of the mint VERY sharp with excellent details. There's a LOT of wear on this old guy!

what does FR-VG mean?

I had it pegged at G-4 because of the overall wear of the obverse and on the reverse everything is visible but not much fine detail

fair, some old schoolers use it for filler.
