I checked the NGC variety table and there is no mention of a 1934-D with doubling, but that does not mean it is not recorded somewhere else... Maybe you found something new? I had looked online and in any books I had but never really saw any reference to a 34D double die. Regardless, I like it and I got ot for the lower end of AU money. Report this Post to the Staff

I would not classify this as damage Sorry, I should have known that it was really late when I responded to the post... yeah, that sounds good Is it possible to have Machine Doubling in different places and in different directions like the obverse shows? I mean the 'direction' of the doubling on the 'L' in liberty is in a slightly different 'direction' than say that of the '4' in the date. Report this Post to the Staff
