Hello,
I have an ANACS-certified AU-55 Walker, dated 1943-S, which is attributed as FS-010.5. I presume this is some Cherrypickers variety, perhaps a doubled die, but I don't see anything unusual about the coin. Can someone explain what is special about this variety?
Thanks!

Can you post pics of the coin ? both Obverse and Reverse .

There are a few different things which it could be on the 43-S

maybe we can see whats up with the coin .

Sure, here are the photos. I bought the slabbed coin to use as an AU grading reference. There was no premium cost due to the variety status.

Heritage's Archives have one - it's described as a "trumpet-tail S." If you're a member, here's the link to the auction:

Be sure and check the coin for an associated over date on some of the trumpet tailed S coins
