Looks like just a small piece of extra metal in the SW serif area, but the top portion inside the D certainly looks like it has definition like a serif. It's a large date, btw. I am slowly working my way through thousands of 1960-D cents. After only about 20 I found one that you identified as #5. I didn't think I would find another one right away, but seeing there are over a hundred repunched mintmarks for this date, do you think it is likely I might find another rpm in this batch? coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 02/08/2012 3:14 pm This could be part of the design or a contact mark. But it is too minor to be a doubled die. Like RPMs can be too minor, doubled dies can also be too minor. One way I determine if a doubled die is too minor is when I try to take an image of a variety and it doesn't show up in the image, it is too minor to list. I may keep it or toss it back. Circulated coins need to be in good condition to be considered for a listing like on coppercoins. They may note it, but usually wait for a better example. When searching on ebay you will not that it is hard to even get a bid on some doubled dies, while machine doubing gets the bids. Go figure? Report this Post to the Staff
