I say study time is over. Here it is, help me out.
What's with the horn up top? Retained Cud? I lightened the pics.

Indian1, I've never viewed laminations as problems, but I know what you're saying. I guess what I'm asking is, what's the vert. line to the west?

It appears to be an RPM, evidently it is somewhat common occurrence as CONECA has 91 listings for 1945-P

Just to be clear- you purchased this coin 10 days ago yet the seller has not shipped yet because he is "researching" it? The time for research was before the coin was listed for sale, not afterwards. There is absolutely no excuse for that

That is 1945-P RPM #5. The top of the RPM is in the center and left side. You can see under the loop and bar a small indication on the right side of the upright. Nice find. It was listed in an older publication that I had. The area called a chip is the exact upper bar.

Anice mineral oil bath would help remove the gunk from the devices on this coin. It is a keeper!
