Hi,

I'm new to coins in general, but even newer to world coins. From my research, I think this is a 1902 1000 Dinar.

Am I right? And if so, what would it grade?

I have a hard enough time grading US coins, never mind exotic coins (for me) such as this.

BTW, these are scans, not pics.

Actually, this looks like 5000 dinar (one year type), and you got the date right.
Interesting detail, at the time Iran used Lunar Hejira calendar, so AH 1320 was AD 1902. Later they switched to Solar Hejira, so they had coins dated SH 1320 but then it would correspond to AD 1941.

Sorry, I'm staying away from grading though.
