hey guys, I found this greek 19th century coin in a lot of world coins I got from ebay. Now looking at its prices in higher grades is overwhelming. This guy could go up to 2000 Euros.
But. the last two digits of the date is missing.
What would you guys grade this coin, would it still have a value that is above its melt? Is there anyway I could possibly restore it?
Thank you very much in advance!

There might be a way to restore the date, but that may cause collectors to shy away. Does that coin series have some identifying changes over years? as in portrait smaller or bigger, crest or crown of different designs? Those changes may help to narrow down the year. Closer pictures would help to identify it.
Rest in Peace

, silverdollar2011!

Even with a readable, there's the small matter of a large plugged hole.

No value above scrap unless is also a rare design (type) coin.

No reputable repairer will go near a date, for obvious reasons.

If not for the plug the coin would grade at G-4. Because of the plug the coin is considered damaged and not gradeable.
