I'm kind of excited, I haven't searched anything in a while as I have been chasing down coins to finish off some of my Dansco albums (which I'm 3 coins from completing a Roosevelt set in MS 65 or better!)
I didn't want to pull more boxes of coins from the bank because I had $250 in gift certificates to a coin shop that my parents gave me for Christmas. I spent hours and hours trying to decide what to get so I bought a 5000 count bag of Wheats. That will put me at almost $400 in Wheats.

Anyone need any? lol If I find any good stuff I'll be sure to post it, I usually find some decent stuff in the big bags.

I have around 100,000 wheats. Make sure to geta ratio of the 1939 coins and below compared to the 40's and 50's. if you are finding 3-7 1939 coins and below per 50 cents, that is a great batch. also make sure to see that the 1939 and below have some mint marks. if they dont, they are searched. Have fun looking through them! they are fun! GL

Fun fun. May I ask how much a bag like this costs? Seems like it would be fun to get one someday. Keep us posted on the finds!

wolverine, .05 cents per wheat sounds more reasonable. If you paid almost $400 for $50.00 worth, you're paying almost .08 cents per wheat. If you get these from a coin shop, try to negotiate a lower price, since you're paying for a large number of them. might save you a couple bucks.
