Hello,

I was clearing out my house and came across a collection of old coins including a 1925 Australia penny. It would be great if any one could advise me if it looks real, what condition it is in and how much it could be worth. I'm completely new to this.

Thanks!

I must agree with trout - doesn't look too promising at first look at the date. If it is indeed real then it is of a high grade gVF-aEF and probably worth upwards of 200 pounds. As big fred says - dont get your hopes up.

OK,i'll be first to admit I was wrong, but the first pics you put up did make the 5 look too big.
Good find & in the area of VF but does have a couple of undesirable looking patches on it.

Wow, that's exciting! Does anyone have any advice on what the best thing to do is? We're moving house and clearing everything out so I'm interested in selling anything of value but I don't know the best way to go about it.
