Is the Garrett Ace 300 similar to the Ace 250? Is it a higher grade detector or lesser? I know the 250 is appropriate for a beginner. Is the 300 also appropriate? Thanks to all for your response.
Rest in Peace

The ace 350 (not 300-that would be a fake) is a more sofisticated version of the 250, which is a workhorse machine and our best seller. As on Garrett's site:

Quote:
This detector includes the best features of the world-famous ACE 250 but adds a powerful new DD searchcoil, enhanced iron discrimination and a higher frequency.

List is $349.95, and I would recommend it or the 250 as an excellent entry-level machine. I'll try to email you, if you don't have that operational, drop us a line at sales@biggfredd.com

I love my Ace 250, but will be uprgrading to a Garrett ATPro once I'm done with school in another year.
