I've seen the Treasure Quest episode where Odyssey found the Victory - it was codenamed the "Legend" on the show. I'm glad they were able to negotiate a salvage contract with the British government. After losing the Black Swan court case to the Spanish, it's about time they had some good news.

I know nothing about how money was moved around at that time, but would assume Gold would be the lightest, most efficient way to transport large sums of money around (aside from paper money whose value is dubious at best...in any age!)...still, would there have been significant ammounts of silver coins aboard? Probably a dumb question, but still, cannot hurt to ask!

No, the Central America wasn't one of theirs. Their first big find was a similar gold-laden steamship, the Republic, many years later.
