i was wondering if canada sells the uncirculated bullion coins to the public or do you have to go to a dealer in canada? I have family in toronto and was gonna see if they could get some for me. they come to the states a couple times a year. what do you pay for them in canada?

Sorry they are sold out at the mint. You will have to go to a dealer or go on ebay to buy them.

The 2007s are out but you have to google them to find them.

This link probably has the lowest price for a 1 oz coin
http://www.blanchardonline.com/blan...ld_maple.php

As for the next ones (2008) They would probably announce them in December like they did the 2007 coins. It probably won't be easy to get them from the mint unless you are Partner. Most of the coins bought from the Mint are bought by coin dealers or places like Sears.

I'm not sure if you would follow the London Gold market for Canada or not if you purchased in Canada. You can get them in the States from most Coin shops. They would be daily spot price and usually slightly above depending upon the dealer. They are wonderful coins to have as they are .9999 instead of U.S. at .999, except the Buffalo Gold ofcourse.
Rest in Peace

The Maple Leafs are among my favorites. I too would like a set of the Gold but, that will have to wait. Now that I've finished my set of BU ASE's, I'm working on the set of silver ML's...sooooooooo purdy!

I missed out but not anymore. Just joined the Canadian Royal Mint service and will be able to be informed by their newsletter when these coins are coming out.

luskie,
I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for The Royal Mint to inform you about the really important stuff.I've ranted about this before,no need again.
You might want to go here once in a while and check the news releases :
http://www.newswire.ca/en/releases/...i?okey=26887
If they change that page, just go to https://www.newswire.ca and search for Royal Canadian Mint.
I've found them very usefull when it comes at posting RCM releases about the new products ( faster and better than RCM itself).
