Starting the 20th of February we have the "23 Days of Buffalo nickels"! How does this work? Starting the 20th of February, we all post pictures of our 1913 Buffalo nickels (the first year of minting of the Buffalo nickel). Then...wait for it... on the 21st, we all post pictures of our 1914 Buffalo nickels! And so on, and so on, through the "23 Days of Buffalo nickels!" Here's the schedule: 20 Feb: 1913 (all mint marks, errors & varieties!) 21 Feb: 1914 22 Feb: 1915 23 Feb: 1916 24 Feb: 1917 25 Feb: 1918 26 Feb: 1919 27 Feb: 1920 28 Feb: 1921 29 Feb: 1923 (Happy Leap Year!) 1 Mar: 1924 2 Mar: 1925 3 Mar: 1926 4 Mar: 1927 5 Mar: 1928 6 Mar: 1929 7 Mar: 1930 8 Mar: 1931 9 Mar: 1934 10 Mar: 1935 11 Mar: 1936 12 Mar: 1937 13 Mar: 1938 So, get your Buffalo Albums out of storage, go to the bank to get out your Buffalo coins from the safety-deposit box, get on ebay and buy that last minute Buffalo you don't have yet and get ready! All of this photographing and cropping and uploading is a lot of work! Maybe I'll just photograph the fronts and backs of the 3 pages in the album and let it go at that...
